The concert took place on 20th of Decembre in kunstraum Munich, as part of the exhibition “Progress. Doesn’t exist.”, a retrospect on the artist and composer Michael von Biel (born 1939). He was one of the important figures in the New Music scene of the 60’s and 70’s and a pioneer of electronic music. In 1973, his concert “Cello concerto with electronic modulation” was premiered in kunstraum Munich, a piece which is lost today. Mathis Mayr and I reconstructed his earlier works and transformed it into our own improvisation.
 is one of the most important representatives of New Music of the sixties and seventies and can be regarded as a pioneer in the field of electronic music. Mathis Mayr (cello) and Mathis Nitschke (electronics) approached the early compositional work of Biel in their piece ){kind=link}
