Task: Development of a brand sound as a part of the Linde Soundlogo

Basis for the creation of the Linde Soundlogo were the existing musical motives by the music agency, to which a special sound had to be created: a “Whoosh” sound fitting the brand.

What’s a Whoosh?

Starting point of my research was the Aeols harp: a harp-like musical sculpture mostly built as a bigger installation with strings which are not played by fingers of a musician, but moved into vibration by the wind which blows through the strings. Equipped with an air gun I recorded a multitude of air-played Glissandos. Those elements enabled me to create an individual brand sound out of a trivial whoosh.
